Chapter One:
It was Summer in New New York. The radiant sun is shining. The Planet Express crew is on break. Fry meets up with Leela.
Fry: Hello Leela!
Leela: Hey Fry.
Fry: Do you have a few minutes?
Leela: Sure, what is it?
Fry: Can I show you this song?
Leela: Okay.
Fry: Awesome, thank you!
Zoidberg walks into the room.
Zoidberg: What’s going on, everybody?
Leela: Hey Zoidberg. Fry, can the rest of the crew visit your music world as well?
Fry: Yeah, they can. If they’re interested.
Zoidberg: What?
Leela: Fry can perform real magic.
Bender, Amy, Hermes and Farnsworth walk in.
Zoidberg: Everyone…guess what? Leela said Fry can do magic!
Amy: Huh?
Hermes: Really?
Bender: You can?
Farnsworth: Is what they’re saying true?
Leela: Yeah, it is.
Fry: Yes, I can transport people into my world of music. It’s temporary but an amazing experience for me. Do you want to see?
Leela, Bender, Amy, Hermes, Farnsworth, and Zoidberg: Yes!
Fry: Okay, here goes.
Fry turns on the song. The Planet Express crew is transported to another world. They walk by train tracks.
Amy: Where are we?
Leela: It says here that we’re in a rural part of Japan.
Farnsworth: Apparently the year is…2011?! Everyone be on their best behavior.
Fry: Relax, Professor. It’s totally impossible to interfere with history here.
Hermes: This is absolutely incredible. We’ve been transported into another universe. All because Fry thought of it.
Bender: Where are we heading now, chump?
Fry: Just follow me. Let the melody take you to a happy place.
The crew walk by the hillside. They pass by some flowers. There are a few clouds in the sky. Everyone agrees that it’s nice here.
Leela, Bender, Amy, Hermes, Farnsworth, and Zoidberg: Thanks for taking us here.
Fry: No problem. Look, we’re facing the seaside path. Let’s go!
The crew walks down the path. They pass by swaying trees. The wind flies by. A happy bird follows them.
Leela: Aw, look at this adorable bird.
Amy: Can we bring it with us?
Fry: Sure.
Zoidberg: Yay!
The crew walks by a road. They see a coyote running across it. They travel further and see some vehicles drive by. There are leaves with water drops on them and an abandoned bicycle. They reach a vacant music store. The lights turn on.
Bender: What the? The lights were just off.
Hermes: What a strange coincidence they just turned on right then.
Fry: In this world, anything’s possible. Come on, let’s keep going.
They continue walking. They reach the beach. The sand is bright white. Parasols are in view.
Zoidberg: Oh, hey. Check it out.
Fry: Everyone grab one.
The crew each takes one and walks along the shore. They watch the big sea as the song ends. Everyone is transported back to Planet Express.
Fry: Thanks everyone! I really appreciate it.
Leela: That was a beautiful song, Fry. I see why you have this power now. These songs do have a special place in your heart.
Leela: Thank you, Leela!
Both smile at each other.
Amy: I felt the melody. It was good feelings.
Bender: Indeed.
Hermes: It was so fun.
Farnsworth: What song was that, Fry?
Fry: It’s called My Country Road by PUFFY. It’s a Japanese band with two women. I took you to a country rock world. My love for their music can take me to these places I imagine and want to be at. I feel happy.
Hermes: You know, Fry. I was singing for commercials and had my own sitcom at one time.
Fry: Oh, right. I remember that.
Hermes: Maybe we can figure out how to make time for Planet Express to have a side-project.
Bender: You mean…a band?
Hermes: Right.
Amy: We may have different music likings but everyone here does seem to have the same basic music interest as Fry has shown.
Hermes: Everyone put their hands in.
All: Let’s do this!
Chapter Two:
Hermes: So, it’s agreed. This will be all of our roles for the jingle.
They look at the list.
Fry: Drums
Hermes: Vocals and Harmony
Amy: Guitar
Bender: Programming
Leela: Bass
Farnsworth: Synthesizer and Keyboards
Zoidberg: Choreographer and Vocoder
Fry, Amy, Hermes, Bender, Leela, Farnsworth, and Zoidberg: Agreed.
The Planet Express ship lands in front of the recording studio.
Hermes: Everyone, did you rehearse?
Leela: Yes. It’s amazing how quickly I took up the bass. It’s awesome.
Bender: Programming is all set up.
Fry: I practiced.
He hits the snare drum and smiles.
Amy: Guitar is tuned.
Zoidberg (through vocoder): Good to go.
Farnsworth (while pressing on a key): Ready!
Hermes: Hit it!
"I’ve fallen for you. Fragrant breath carrying feelings. All because of that lemonade treat. Flying rising stimulating BEGA ANI gum!"
Laptop: Approved!
Fry, Amy, Hermes, Bender, Leela, Farnsworth, and Zoidberg: Thank you!
Chapter Three:
The ship lands back at Planet Express.
Hermes: This is great!
Bender: I can’t believe we are now professional musicians.
Fry: I got the drum kit I wanted and everything.
Amy: I have got such an awesome guitar.
Bender: I love this programming.
Zoidberg: It’s neat!
Leela: I know.
Farnsworth: Indeed.
Fry: Yep, things are great. Should we still keep Planet Express in business?
Everyone thinks about it.
Leela: I think we should.
Amy: Yeah, I agree.
Zoidberg: I like that idea.
Hermes: Sounds good.
Bender: I approve.
Farnsworth: Planet Express is still a part of us.
Fry: Let’s be a band and delivery service. Yay! Now what should our band name be?
Everyone thinks of ideas.
Fry: How about “The Deliver Music Crew”?
Leela: Oh, that’s good.
Bender: I actually like that.
Hermes: What does everyone else think?
Amy: I like it.
Zoidberg: Cool.
Farnsworth: Let’s go with Fry’s idea then.
Fry: Yay! We are TDMC!
Chapter Four:
Leela: On stage, backstage.
Fry: Photos, video.
Hermes: Media, after parties.
Farnsworth: Commercial jingles, Tokyo to London.
Bender: New tunes, old tunes.
Amy: Cool clothes, concerts.
Zoidberg: Packed halls, strip malls.
Everyone: Yay!
Leela: Fry, can we visit another world?
Fry: Okay, let me find a song.
He finds a song.
Fry: Hm...
Leela: What is it, Fry?
Fry: Oh...you'll see...okay, here we go.
The crew appears in a white room with mp3 players around their necks. They are all wearing large solid white t-shirts with light tan skirts, white leggings for the women and tan for the men, and light brown boots for the men and light gray for the women.
Bender: Where are we? It’s just white.
Leela: Are we in that one song again, Fry?
Fry: No, it’s different. Come on, let’s go!
Fry takes off and the others follow. Suddenly, designs appear on everyone’s shirts and it changes rapidly. Different styles of lips and open mouths. A hand making a ‘V’ shape with its fingers. A hand that makes it look like it’s holding everyone’s mp3 players. A diamond ring and on the walls, hands appear trying to reach the rings on their shirts. A birthday cake appears on their shirts. Zoidberg pulls out a purse that was on his shirt and holds onto it. Words appear on the walls of the room. “Oh Oh Oh”. Fry leans on a rail and wings appear on his back. The phrase “Full!” pops from Leela’s shirt as she swings around a pole. A large pair of glasses falls from the ceiling while Amy and Hermes catch it. They throw them behind their backs. Farnsworth has sunglasses and 3-D glasses appear on his shirt. A man is seen playing on a electric guitar while sitting on the word “ENERGY”. A purple rain cloud pours drops on the word “GOT” with the words “FULL OF LOVE” in them.
The crew then reaches a door. Fry opens it. They all enter a room set up for taking pictures. The crew sees a board with photos of random people and balloons shaped like flowers attached to it.
Fry: Let’s take some pictures.
Everyone starts posing for pictures. They take those pictures and photos from their childhood that happened to be there and place them on the board. They finish and the room turns solid white again. Everything in the room then doubles and becomes like a kaleidoscope. Butterflies flies past everyone. Stars pass by. Gray globes of the Earth spiral around. Branches with leaves appear. Everybody shakes their head to the rhythm.
Everyone returns back to reality.
Amy: I felt so alive in there.
Bender: Me, too.
Hermes: Second that statement.
Zoidberg: That was so much fun.
Farnsworth: Indeed quite an enjoyable experience.
Leela: I was moved. Fry, your love for those women…so emotional.
Amy, Hermes, Bender, Leela, Farnsworth, and Zoidberg: Thank you!
Fry: You’re welcome!
Fry smiles.
Everyone says their goodbyes to each other.
Leela: When we get home, can we say sweet things to each other and fall asleep with you close to me, Fry?
Fry: I’d love to.
Fry and Leela kiss passionately.
Screen: Fry, Leela and Bender walk out of the Planet Express building. They look up at the starry sky as a shooting star flies by.
